Amphora Aromatics provides nut and seed-derived Carrier Oils of the highest quality. Although the properties of these unscented oils are often ignored, their benefits are considerable. Many body oils are a by-product of the petro-chemical industry and tend to leave shiny residues on the surface of the skin, but our pure vegetable oils are easily absorbed, leaving the skin well-conditioned, not greasy.

Carrier Oils are cold pressed, using as little heat as possible for extraction. The viscosity of oils varies with each type, as does the ease of absorption into the skin.

An inexpensive and versatile carrier oil such as Sweet Almond stays on the surface long enough for massage, facilitating the movement of the hands, while an easily-absorbed oil such as Macadamia is a fantastic skin conditioner, especially beneficial for dry, mature and wrinkle-prone skin.

We also supply cold-pressed Vegetable Oils including: Neem, Avocado, Jojoba, Coconut, Evening Primrose and Rosehip, and Infused Oils, including St John?s Wort, Comfrey and Calendula which is great for stretchmarks and scaly skin.

Jojoba is a wonderful all-round body product and has been used extensively in recent years as a hair product. Massage it straight onto hair and scalp and wrap in a warm towel for an intensive conditioning treatment before shampooing out.
