Volatile oil obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops & foliage.	Sweet nutty-herbaceous scent.

General Description

Clary Sage English Grown. Good for oily skin and hair. Good massage for women around periods (PMT) or few drops in bath. Useful in stressful conditions. Contains a hormone like compound similar to oestrogen.

Historical Background

Traditionally used as a skin conditioner, astringent, soothing agent, aphrodisiac, muscle relaxant.

Properties

Relaxing, calming, soothing, warming. Muscle relaxant, muscle ease. Uplifts the spirit.

Base Products

Linalyl acetate, linalol, pionene, myrcene, sclareol, phellandrene.

Safety

DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION. KEEP OUT OF EYES. DO NOT SWALLOW.
