Extraction Description
The oil obtained from the plant Symphytum officinale, infused in Sweet Almond Oil (Prunis dulcis) in the ratio of herb:oil 1:5
General Description
Comfrey Oil. All oils to be used externally only. Astringent properties. Helps soothe bruises. Research: Comfrey contains allantoin, a cell proliferant that helps to repair damaged tissue. Rosmarinic acid and other phenolic acids are also contained in comfrey - helps with inflammation.

Historical Background
An indigenous European plant, Comfrey was known to the Greek physician Dioscorides in the first century A.D. who wrote about it in his Materia Medica.
