Steam-distilled from rhizomes of a reed-like plant about 1mFresh spicy-camphoraceous odour.
General Description

Galangal Essential Oil. Used for digestive upsets. Hildegard of Bingen regarded it as the Spice of Life. Can be used to relieve travel sickness (sniff some oil on a hanky). Used for digestive upsets, diluted well with a carrier oil and gently massage on the abdomen.


Historical Background
In around the 10th century Hildegard of Bingen (Abess,musician, mystic, writer) regarded galangal as the Spice of Life.

Properties
Stimulating, antiseptic, warming, antifungal .

Safety
DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION. KEEP OUT OF EYES. DO NOT SWALLOW.
