The absolute is obtained from flowers.	It has a sweet green herbaceous odour and heavy floral undertones.

General Description

Narcissus Absolute 5%. The familiar garden flower from bulbs. In India the oil is applied to the body before prayer in temples. Used in high-class perfumery.

Historical Background

Roman perfumers used narcissum from narcissus flowers when making their complex perfumes. Arabians recommend the oil as an aphrodisiac and a cure for baldness!

Properties

Considered an aphrodisiac.
