Extraction Description	Scent Description
Steam distilled from the plant. It is a ?true? balsam, collected as a dark brown or amber solid mass.	Has a rich sweet balsamic ?vanilla-like? scent.

General Description

Peru Balsam Essential Oil. Large tropical tree, very fragrant flowers, pea-like and yellow seed pods. Has warming comforting quality, useful in stressful situations. Used in facemasks, perfumes, hair rinses and astringents. Good for dry skin. Used in facemasks, perfumes, hair rinses and astringents. Good for dry skin. May be used as an inhalent (2/3mls. in an old basin with hot water and a towel placed over the head). Can also be used with a carrier oil in a chest rub.

Antiseptic, fixative.

Safety

DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION. KEEP OUT OF EYES. DO NOT SWALLOW.
