Melissa essential oil can help to uplift the spirits.
When burned or vaporised it can banish the blues, can calm the mind and help with fevers, headaches and nausea.
When used in massage it should always be very well diluted to a maximum of 1%. It can help to sooth an upset stomach and problems during the menstrual cycle - it's known as The Female Oil. Alternatively you can add a few drops to a hot bath. It will again help with depression and calm nerves and may also help to settle a troubled stomach and can be used against fungal infections.
