Lemon Tea Tree essential oil is a good way to make use of the powerful aromatherapy benefits of Tea Tree oil but with a less medicinal fragrance that many people find more palatable.
It should be used in low dilutions as its main component citral can be a dermal irritant.
When burned or vaporised it can uplift the emotions and stimulate and clear the mind. It can also help to protect against airborne viruses and alleviate the sypmtoms of colds, coughs, flu and other congestive ailments. It will also help to disguise any nasty odours.
It makes a good household cleaning oil - dilute first and always spot check a small part of the area you want to clean to see that the surface won't be affected by the oil.
Scientific research has found it to be effective against viruses, fungi and bacteria. It makes a good spray for dogs and horses to protect against fleas and ticks - always dilute very well (2 per cent or less) and spray directly on to the animals coat.
Leptospermum petersonii Oil is an essential oil obtained from hydrodistillation of the leaves of the plant, Leptospermum petersonii, Myrtaceae. Syn. Lemon scented Tea tree oil.
Fresh camphoraceous lemon odour.
Antiseptic, antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial.

Tea Tree and Lemon Tea Tree have been used by the Australian Aborigines for thousands of years.
